Founder of Embracing Minds Psychology, Talia Burton, provides tailored mental health treatment and support for children, adolescents and neurodivergent adults. She is trained in gold standard assessment and diagnosis of neurodivergence such as Autism, ADHD, Intellectual Developmental Disorder and Specific Learning Disorders, and she is an accredited provider of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (TF-CBT).

Talia is committed to promoting gender-affirming care and neuro-affirming practice, where she has developed various initiatives within the public health space to cultivate safe and inclusive environments.

Qualifications

Talia completed her undergraduate Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at the University of Wollongong and postgraduate Masters of Clinical Psychology at Western Sydney University (2018). 

She is an endorsed Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA and Board-approved primary supervisor.
